What we collect and why
When you sign up for the free pattern, we collect your email address, to send you the pattern and our emails about new patterns and offers.
When you buy, we collect your name, email address and billing details. We need them to take the payment, deliver your files and answer you if something goes wrong. Card details are handled by our payment providers and never reach us.
When you visit, we collect the pages you open, how you arrived, and basic information about your device and browser, through cookies and similar technology. We use Meta's advertising tools, so if you arrived from an ad, Meta may be told that you visited or bought. Our store runs on Shopify, which processes this information for us under its own privacy policy.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the services that run our store, deliver your order, send our emails and measure our ads, as described above.
How long we keep it
Order records for as long as tax law requires. Your email until you unsubscribe, which is one click at the bottom of every email.
Your rights
Write to hello@feltcottage.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for advertising. We answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example California, other U.S. states, the EU or the UK) you may have additional rights, and we respect them.
Children
Our store is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update this page and the date at the top.
